CalMac sails to Barra from Oban to Castlebay, and across the Sound of Barra between Eriskay and Ardmhor. CalMac strongly recommends booking vehicle space.

Loganair flies between Glasgow and Barra, landing on the beach at Traigh Mhor, which doubles as the island's airport.

The council's W32 bus route lists a 'Scurrival' fare stage, next to Eoligarry village and Barra Airport. Check current bus times on the council's Barra timetables page.
